CATHEDRAL AND GHIRLANDINA IN LEGO, THE EXHIBITION IN MODENA
MODENA'S ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE REVISITED BY ARTIST GIORGIO RUFFO
From January 10 to March 8, 2025, the former Albergo Diurno in Piazza Mazzini will host an extraordinary exhibition celebrating Modena’s architectural heritage through detailed Lego replicas of the Cathedral and the Ghirlandina Tower.
These creations, crafted by artist Giorgio Ruffo, faithfully represent the city's iconic monuments, offering visitors a unique experience that blends art, history, and creativity.
A project combining art and solidarity
The exhibition is not only an opportunity to admire the artist’s construction skills but also a charitable initiative.
Visitors can contribute to the realization of the second "Casa di Fausta" in Baggiovara - accommodation for patients undergoing treatment at the Modena Polyclinic - by "lighting up" the Lego structures with a symbolic €1 donation.
Additionally, every hour, guests can listen to the chimes of the Ghirlandina bells, recreating the authentic atmosphere of Modena’s historic center.
