The Enzo Ferrari House Museum, also known by the acronym MEF, is the museum dedicated to the life and work of Enzo Ferrari, founder of the celebrated car manufacturer in Maranello. The museum was inaugurated on 10 March 2012 by the Enzo Ferrari Museum Foundation and environmentally sustainable criteria were adopted for the buildings.
TECHNOLOGY AND ELEGANCE
The building that houses the actual museum is shaped like the yellow hood of the car, not only in homage to the colour chosen by Enzo Ferrari as the background for the prancing horse symbol of Ferrari, but also because yellow is the official colour of the city of Modena. .
In contrast, the interiors of the museum are white to highlight the cars, ensuring that the exhibition area is a neutral place in which the vehicles are the undisputed stars.
