Webinars and live streaming events

A webinar is a public event organised on-line, through a software platform, to discuss a specific topic. The people running the event are usually present, but could be in different locations if a group of presenters is involved. A webinar uses various tools to support presentation, for showing slides, film clips and alternating with the other presenters. All the participants are usually remotely connected and this allows the audience to be increased without limits, as well as a geographical extension as if there were no borders.

It is extremely simple to participate in a webinar and no specific technical skills are needed. The participant receives an e-mail containing a link and can register for the webinar in just a few, simple steps.
